WhiskIR Vision

1st Place out of 25: WhiskIR vision animal monitoring system

The WhiskIR Vision was a Senior design project created by Kayla Hackett, Jackie Clark, and Hannah Hindi, and myself. This device intended to help animal researches keep better track of the movement of hamsters that were used for research purpose, allowing for more precise data. It was created with a 3d printed frame, 12 IR beams, and an Arduino Mega. My primary contribution was for code optimization and data processing, for which I wrote a program in R to handle the data that came in from the device. My code can be found in this github repository.
